Who We Are

The South Florida Office Brokers Association is a network of professional office leasing brokers in South Florida.

SFOBA began over 20 years ago by a group of leasing brokers in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Their intent was to have better communication between the other 100 or so leasing agents out there, providing a networking forum to increase business between them.

Over the years, the group has expanded to over 300 members with more than 50 to 75 brokers participating, on the average, each month. Discussions include topics on market conditions, building information, trends, needs, wants, closed deals, and legal issues, as well as political implications that could affect our core business. While most members focus on Broward and South Palm Beach County, our boundaries have expanded with some representation from Miami-Dade and Northern Palm Beach.

Our monthly meeting hosts, through the generosity of the various owners, showcase their properties by providing the venue and menu for our breakfast, luncheon and evening events.  Be sure to let us know if you have an interest in showcasing yours!

    With the launching of our blog tomorrow, Joanne and I hope to lead you into new areas of communication which should anable all our members to learn and prosper.
